The redevelopment of Lansdowne Road Stadium into the new 50,000 capacity all-seater Aviva Stadium is now complete. For this unique stadium MSA developed a fire engineered design solution from first principles. Performance based fire engineering using egress modelling was used to optimise the maximum occupancy levels and to ensure that the evacuation time of the stadium is within acceptable limits. MSA are now providing ongoing fire safety support for the stadium.  In particular we are working with the promoters with regard to Event Safety Management for future concerts.
